Capturing families in isolation during the Covid-19 Pandemic.
After the first few weeks in isolation with my own family I was scratching the walls and desperately needed a reason to get my camera out.
I never thought it would be so popular.
I ended up going for a daily walk every evening for 2-3 weeks and capturing families of all shapes and sizes along the way.
This was my sanity! Chatting to parents, laughing with kids, learning I was not the only one struggling with home schooling.
Although my doorstep portraits are no longer available, I just want to say a huge THANK YOU to all the families who invited me to capture this crazy time. As well as brightening up my days, you have helped Hereford City have lasting archives of the 2020 Covid-19 Pandemic lockdown.
I am very much looking forward to freerer times, with ‘normal’ family sessions being able to presume, to give more lovely families memories to cherish.
